Fresno, CA – As part of Trillium Flow Technologies, Trillium Pumps USA, Inc. is an industry leader with more than 80 years of proven experience manufacturing vertical turbine pumps for the water and wastewater, oil and gas, mining, energy, and industrial markets both domestically and internationally. Similarly, our Salt Lake City, Utah location, established in 1902, also serves similar markets with different applications.
The Trillium Board of Directors has approved a plan to merge the Salt Lake City manufacturing operations into our Fresno facility. This merger will expand our operations in Fresno and build a more comprehensive infrastructure to create one center of excellence in North America for our Pumps Division. This decision comes as a result of multiple reviews, detailed analysis and customer impact evaluations. We believe this consolidation will improve our operational efficiencies, while allowing business retention and further attraction of talent resulting in a level of service that will delight our customers.
Over the next eighteen (18) to twenty-four (24) months we will prepare and move product lines and assets currently in Salt Lake City to Fresno. Construction work and planning for the combined operation is ongoing. Trillium Pumps USA, Inc. will maintain some office support staff in Salt Lake City, however the relocation will generate new California-based employment in Fresno which will continue to increase as product lines are moved to the facility.
The local Trillium Flow Technologies’ management team has been working with the Fresno County Economic Development Corporation, City of Fresno, and support agencies such as the Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board, State Center Community College District’s Apprenticeship Department, CMTC and Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development to ensure a coordinated effort is in place to carry out targeted employee recruitment, on-the-job training and existing employee upskilling in preparation for the consolidation.
Trillium Pumps USA, Inc. will ensure the proper mitigation measures are in effect to ensure that our employees, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders remain well served and safe during this transition period.
