SBA E200 Emerging Leaders Initiative Graduates Entrepreneurs
Fresno, Calif. – The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) in collaboration with the Strong Cities Strong Communities Initiative in Fresno is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2012 E200 Emerging Leaders initiative. 12 small business owners conducted their final presentations before a local panel comprised of business consultants, experienced business executives, entrepreneurs, and bankers in the last week.
E200 is an executive level executive MBA style development and training course based on the nationally acclaimed StreetWise Steps™ curriculum which was offered to local promising small business owners to grow their businesses. The E200 program was brought to Fresno by SBA for the second year due in part to the City being designated as a Strong Cities, Strong Communities.
“The E200 Initiative has had a proven track record for expanding opportunities for many promising small businesses and in creating jobs in underserved communities,” Fresno SBA District Director Carlos Mendoza said. . “Interise the curriculum’s provider has gathered data from previous surveys of past E200 classes which show dramatic gains for graduates. SBA is pleased to have provided this opportunity to help these businesses.”
