FRESNO – For the 18th consecutive year, Valley residents chose Saint Agnes Medical Center as their Consumer Choice Award winner.

Saint Agnes is one of 277 hospitals nationwide to receive the 2013/14 award for overall quality and image, and is among an elite group of only 37 hospitals to receive the distinction 18 years in a row.

This award is based on the Market Insights survey conducted by National Research Corporation of more than 270,000 households in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. This is the 18th year that National Research has named the top hospitals in markets throughout the United States.

“We are both thrilled and humbled to receive this distinction 18 years in a row,” says Saint Agnes President and CEO Nancy Hollingsworth, RN. “Receiving this award is especially gratifying because it’s the voice of our community confirming that we are keeping our promise to providing excellence in safety and service.”

Saint Agnes is proud to share this 18-year Consumer Choice top honors with some of the nation’s finest healthcare facilities, including Johns Hopkins Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and Yale-New Haven Hospital.  National Research Corporation is a recognized industry leader with more than three decades of experience in healthcare performance measurement and improvement.
