International Agri-Center Hosts Chamber Mixer and Mural Dedication

TULARE – The International Agri-Center will host a “Business After Hours” mixer in Tulare today at 5:30 p.m. The event, which will also include a mural dedication, will give the business community an opportunity to network and learn about the many special events the International Agri-Center’s facilities can host.

Attendees will learn about local businesses and will have several chances to win World Ag Expo sponsorship benefits; a room rental with catered lunch; catered lunch at their office and an AgVentures! school tour. Many local business will be in attendance, including: California Party Rentals; Light and Sound Solutions; Western Executive Protection; Visalia Photo Booth; Bite Me Mini Donuts; Julie’s Little Flower Shop; Tulare Downtown Association; Rosa Brothers Milk Company; Top O’ The Morn Farms; Hazel’s Kitchen; UC Cooperative Extension; AMVETS and the Tulare and Visalia chambers.

The mixer will also include the dedication of a mural created by local artist, Kristen Ritchie which honors the Caviglia family of Visalia. The mural features the late Jim Caviglia in an orange grove in Lemon Cove, and is the newest addition to the AgVentures! Learning Center. The mural and dedication pay tribute to the contributions of the Caviglia family to the local agricultural community and the International Agri-Center.

“We’re extremely pleased to have the Caviglia family join us as we dedicate the mural which was created to honor their loved one,” said Jerry Sinift, CEO, International Agri-Center. “The mural is a great addition to our learning center and will be enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year.”
