FRESNO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNUAL INSTALLATION DINNER TO CELEBRATE THE ARTS

Fresno, CA (January 27, 2015) – This Friday, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce will host its 121st Annual Membership & Installation Dinner at the New Exhibit Hall in Downtown Fresno. The theme of this year’s banquet is “The Arts: Nicety or Necessity?” Additionally, Lorraine Salazar, Owner of Sal’s Mexican Restaurant Group will be installed as the Chamber’s Chairman of the Board for 2015.

“The Chamber is saluting the Arts this year at our Installation Dinner,” said Chamber President and CEO, Al Smith. “Some may ask if Arts are truly relevant for a community to thrive. Friday night, attendees will get the answer – and it may surprise many. This year’s event will not only address a crucial topic, it should also be a glorious evening of performances.

” The program will include seven different acts throughout the evening, including the Fresno Philharmonic, Fresno Grand Opera, NoCo Dance Company, Gospel Workshop of America, Roger Rocka’s Good Company Players and the Roosevelt Mariachi Band. Additionally, the hall of the Convention Center will feature art work displayed to represent a cross section of the cultural arts community.

The 121st Annual Membership & Installation Dinner will be held at the New Exhibit Hall in Downtown Fresno from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, January 30, 2015. For more information, contact the Fresno Chamber of Commerce at (559) 495-4800.
