A new president will be taking over day-to-day operations for Quiring General.

The Fresno-based construction company announced in a press release on Tuesday that it would be promoting Josh Sherfield to president.

“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Josh Sherfield to the role of President,” said Paul Quiring, CEO. “His team-first approach, values, and strong leadership skills are an asset to the continued growth of Quiring. And most importantly, he understands and lives our culture which is what
differentiates us from our competitors.”

Sherfield has been with Quiring for five years and has had a 14-year career in the construction industry. He was a member of Quiring’s leadership team and was previously the director of estimating.

As president, Sherfield will be in charge of day-to-day operations and will focus on planning and strategy, the release went on to say.

“I am honored and excited to lead a company with such a strong foundation, great people, and incredible culture. We have an exceptional team of people here who accomplish great things every day. I’m excited about what’s ahead for Quiring and our team,” said Sherfield.

Before joining Quiring, Sherfield served as vice president and division manager for McClone Construction’s Fresno and Orange County offices.

Quiring was founded in 1947 and focuses on commercial construction, particularly medical, senior living, multi-family, retail and mixed-use projects.
