Clovis Fall Fest and Business Resource Fair is Oct. 17
CLOVIS – The event where “business is done” has undergone a rebranding.
The Clovis Advantage Trade Show, a premiere networking event put on by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce twice a year, is now being called Clovis Fall Fest and Business Resource Fair, and will be held Thursday, Oct. 17 from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Clovis Veterans Memorial Building. Businesses are expected to take up roughly 55 booths, and the event will offer free samplings from eight food vendors as well as drinks from the beverage bar. The number of booths has increased this time, due in part to new Clovis Chamber membership coming largely from the new Clovis Crossing shopping center and businesses that have been popping up on Shaw Ave.
“In July we surpassed last year’s new member number,” said Fran Blackney, business advocate with the Clovis Chamber of Commerce. ”So we’re getting a lot of new members at the chamber this year who realize the importance and the value of joining the Clovis Chamber, because of our networking opportunities.”
Those unable to attend the show can catch what is happening via the Internet, as Business Street Online will be presenting a live streaming webcast, featuring interviews with vendors and Clovis Chamber officials, on its website www.BusinessStreetOnline.com. Admission to the show and parking are free of charge. For more information, visit www.ClovisChamber.com.
