Visalia, CA (October 29, 2015)—Thirteen students from the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) hosted by the Tulare and Visalia Chambers of Commerce will receive business and networking advice from 6 local CEOs, including:

• Aaron Gomes, Founder, Sound N Vision Foundation

• Vickie Goudreau, Owner, Innovation Commercial Flooring

• Deanne Martin-Soares, CEO, Amdal-In Home Care •

Ciaran McMullan, President/CEO, Suncrest Bank

• Chris Miller, Owner, Lily Pad Café

• Jason Winn, Family Business Partner, McElmoyl Commercial Refrigeration Inc.

The CEOs will volunteer their time to answer questions from the students as they prepare to launch and run their own businesses as part of their YEA! class. “It is my pleasure to support such a forward-thinking program. It is amazing that the YEA! program gives students all the tools they need to succeed, and resources at their fingertips well after they graduate from the program. It is an honor to be able to support these students in all they do.” stated Vickie Goudreau, Owner, Innovation Commercial Flooring.

YEA! teaches kids ages 11 to 18 how to identify their passions, develop a business idea, write a business plan, pitch investors for funding, and obtain all the necessary components to create a fully, formed and functioning business or social movement by the end of the 30-week class.

As a non-profit organization, YEA! relies on the generosity of the community and of sponsors; people who identify with entrepreneurship and want to help pave the way for the future business leaders of tomorrow. “YEA! strengthens the community, and the community strengthens YEA!,” said Gayle Jagel, Founder and CEO of YEA!. “Our program managers and instructors seek out people in every facet of the business community to help our students’ dreams become reality.”
