Business Leaders to Participate in Innovation Town Hall

FRESNO – The California Governor’s Office of Business & Economic Development is presenting a special Innovation Town Hall Tuesday afternoon at the UC Merced office, located at 550 E. Shaw Ave. in Fresno.

Go-Biz Director Kish Rajan and Deputy Director of Innovation Louis Stewart will both take part in the discussion on innovation, and provide information on how businesses can succeed and thrive in the Central Valley, and ways the state can help support innovation.  Audience participation will be a part of the program.  Diane Howerton, director of the UC Merced SBDC Regional Network and Kirk Nagamine, president and CEO of the Central Valley Business Incubator-Small Business Development Center will also those gathered.

“We are pleased to have the attention of the Governor’s office on the Central Valley,” Nagamine said.  “CVBI-SBDC is looking forward to discussing with our local business leaders how the state can help to improve our economic situation.”
