48th Annual World Ag Expo Stays Course with Business, Education and Innovations in Ag

Tulare, Calif.- Thursday, February 12, 2015, marked the final day of the three-day show, World Ag Expo. The 48th annual show, which was held at the International Agri-Center in Tulare, California, opened Tuesday, February 10 at 9:00am. Attendees and exhibitors from all over the world came to the show grounds to join in the largest outdoor agricultural expo in the world, which spans over 2.6 million square feet of exhibit space, housed over 1,500 exhibitors and hosted over 100,000 attendees.

“World Ag Expo becomes, for a handful of days, home to the largest crowd of buyers, sellers, innovators, and producers in the ag industry, ” said Jerry Sinift, the International Agri-Center’s chief executive officer. “It’s amazing and exciting to see this group come together from all over the world to buy, sell, learn or just appreciate the vast amount of ag business and ag education that happens on these grounds.”

New this year, was Thursday’s guided educational school tours, which brought in groups from as far away as Utah and Nevada. Also new this year, World Ag Expo hosted a catered “Farmers’ Lunch” featuring speaker AG Kawamura, former California Secretary of Ag. Through new offerings each year, World Ag Expo staff seeks to draw in the right crowds: qualified buyers and innovative sellers.

“World Ag Expo has proven year after year to be a strategic fit for our business,” said exhibitor Tegan Moehn, a marketing specialist with Flow Technologies. “We are able to build long-lasting relationships with the extremely engaged audience.”

Other attractions at World Ag Expo this year included the Equipment Showcase in the World Ag Expo Arena, multiple Ride-and-Drives, and educational seminars.

Next year, World Ag Expo will be held on February 9-11, 2016 at the International Agri-Center grounds in Tulare, Calif.
