40 Under 40: Carrie Miranda – Carrie Anne Miranda Photography

Carrie Miranda is a 2000 graduate of Kingsburg High School, and spent two years at Kings River Community College in Reedley before moving to Fresno.  She briefly attended Fresno City College to obtain her real estate license, and then spent two years at Bryan College for court reporting.

She was pregnant with her son in 2010, during which time she developed her photography skills by taking photographs of her kids.  In October of 2011 she opened her own photography studio, Carrie Anne Miranda Photography.  Since then, her work has been featured on national websites, used in advertising campaigns, and more.  Miranda describes her style of photography as natural and candid.

In January of 2012 Miranda, along with Brittany Wilbur, founded Sweet Nectar Society, which is an organization that focuses on taking photographs for families and children dealing with chronic illnesses, as well as injuries.  Other than running her own business, she is a dedicated advocate for bone marrow registration.

Miranda and her husband, Juan Carlos Miranda, live in Fresno with their four children.
