’40 Under 40′ – Blake Taylor – KMJ Radio

Oct 09, 2013 No Comments by

Blake Taylor wakes you up each weekday by anchoring Fresno’s Morning News (6 a.m. -9 a.m.) on NewsTalk 580 KMJ.  He also serves as KMJ’s news director and assistant program director.

This 38-year-old New Mexico native came to Fresno in 2007 after spending the previous five years programming KERN in Bakersfield.  Prior to that Taylor honed his radio skills at KBTK, KNML and KKOB in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He began his radio career at age 17 as a lowly overnight disk jockey at KZOR in his hometown of Hobbs, New Mexico…that’s where he learned how to drink coffee by the quart.  These days, when he’s not busy dominating the morning radio in the Central Valley, Taylor enjoys spending time with his beautiful wife and two awesome daughters as well as cooking, traveling, playing sports.
