FCFB Hires New Operations Manager

FRESNO - Courtney Sorensen of Clovis is the new operations manager for the Fresno County Farm Bureau, effective Jan. 7.

Sorensen comes to FCFB with experience as an administrative assistant and human resources coordinator. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and journalism from California State University, Fresno, where she also obtained a certificate in marketing. Sorensen is a member of the Human Resources Association of Central California (HRACC).

“We are thrilled to have Courtney join our team. She will bring new ideas and perspectives to our organization,” said Fresno County Farm Bureau CEO Ryan Jacobsen. “Her administrative and human resource experience will help further our organization and meet the needs of our members.”

Sorensen is the daughter of third generation Sanger-area farmer, Craig Sorensen. Growing up, she loved spending summer days at her family’s ranch, getting to see first-hand how much work goes into day-to-day activities on the farm. These experiences gave her a strong love and respect for agriculture early on in life.

“I am excited for the opportunity to join such a respected organization and to be able to work with the members to continue to advocate on behalf of the agriculture industry,” Sorensen said.
