HANFORD - To help patients from throughout our region who struggle with chronic pain, Adventist Health has opened a Spine and Pain Center in the Kerr Outpatient Center in Hanford.

The center is led by Dr. Rupinder Singh, who is fellowship-trained and board-certified in pain management.

The Spine and Pain Center offers a multi-faceted approach to reduce pain, including medication, surgical interventions and physical therapy. Center staff listen to patients and then create a plan of care to fit his or her unique needs.

Dr. Singh specializes in treating all types of pain, including acute, chronic and cancer-related. “I became a doctor to help people and to relieve suffering and pain,” he said. “It can make a huge difference in the quality of life. With so many modalities available today, one does not need to suffer from pain.”

Dr. Singh previously provided interventional pain management care at Advanced Pain Management – Mankato Clinic in Mankato, Minn. He completed fellowship training in interventional pain management at the Department of Anesthesia University of Rochester in New York in 2008 and an internal medicine residency at Prince George’s Hospital Center in Cheverly, Md.

During his free time, Dr. Singh enjoys traveling and meeting new people. He is married and has three children, and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi.

The Spine and Pain Center is at 470 N. Greenfield Ave., Suite 305, in Hanford. The phone number is 559-537-0325 and the fax is 559-537-0327.
