WINNER OF PRESTIGIOUS LEON S. PETERS AWARD TO BE ANNOUNCED TODAY AT FRESNO STATE
Fresno, CA (February 4, 2015) – Today, Wednesday, February 4th, at roughly 12:30 pm, the Fresno Chamber of Commerce will announce the 2015 recipient of the Leon S. Peters Award at the Haak Conference room on the fourth floor of the Madden Library (5200 North Barton Avenue, Fresno, CA 93710). As in years past, the identification of the prominent recipient will not be revealed until the surprise announcement.
This year’s winner of the Leon S. Peters Award was recognized by the Selection Committee as one of Fresno’s most outstanding stewards, an individual who they identified to have exhibited outstanding leadership through devotion of his/her time and talents in order to better the community. The criterion for the selection of this prestigious award is based upon the recipient’s accomplishments, personal and public service, which must exemplify the spirit of an enlightened, responsible free enterprise system.
The award will be presented to the recipient at the 36th Annual Valley Business Awards Luncheon held on Thursday March 11th, 2015, at the New Exhibit Hall, 848 M Street.
