Susan G. Komen® Circle of Promise to Host ‘Women Empowering Women’ Inaugural Breast Cancer Screening Event and Health Fair

African American women are 41 percent more likely to die of breast cancer than other women.  Susan G. Komen® Circle of Promise California Initiative ensures that all African American women, regardless of their socio-economic status are empowered to take personal action and access breast health services in order to create their own story of survival and live a long, healthy life. Teaming with Clinica Sierra Vista, Susan G. Komen® Central Valley is hosting ‘Women Empowering Women’ Health Initiative, offering services that include a medical home, no cost clinical breast exam and mammogram. This event is open to all women who face these disparities.
