Scharton to Open Fulton Mall Establishment

FRESNO – Craig Scharton, business development director with the City of Fresno, is opening the doors of his new business venture, called Peeve’s Public House & Local Market, on Sept. 5 on the Fulton Mall in downtown Fresno.

“It’s where Fresno Brewing Co. is,” Scharton said.  ”Fresno Brewing Co. is closing, and I’ll re-open as Peeve’s Public House & Local Market.”

Scharton says the atmosphere at Peeve’s will be relaxed and casual.  Visitors will be able to enjoy live music, food with local ingredients, local coffees and blended teas, and smoothies and juices made from local produce.

Scharton said the space next door to Peeve’s, an old jewelry store, will be turned into a market featuring locally-made food products.  Since he has hired a professional manager to run things, he says his job with the City of Fresno will not be affected.
