Grizzlies Come Up Short in Season Opener
FRESNO – Even though 10,415 fans came out to support them in their first home game of the season, the Fresno Grizzlies fell to the Tacoma Rainiers at Chukchansi Park last night with a score of 9-1.
It was feared that rain might dampen the night’s game, but in the end bad weather didn’t stop the action.
The Grizzlies will face the Rainiers again tonight in game two of a four-game set at Chukchansi Park. First pitch is at 7:05 p.m. For ticket information, call (559) 320-TIXS.
