Fresno Energy Assessment Program Praised

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin and representatives from the California Energy Commission and Pacific Gas & Electric gathered at the home of former California State Assembly Member Juan Arambula and his wife, Amy for a press conference to promote the City of Fresno’s Home Energy Tune-Up Program.

After having the free energy assessment done in his home, Arambula decided to take the recommendations he was given and made the recommended improvements to his home, including putting insulation under his floors, fixing leaks in his ducts, and installing a solar fan.  He estimates that he save up to 50 percent in energy costs during the summer.
