Fresno, Calif. (September 11, 2015) – St. Anthony’s School is partnering with Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the largest electronic waste recycling company in North America, to hold their semiannual e-waste recycling collection events at the school on Sunday, September 13th and Sunday, September 20th from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.. Residents will have the opportunity to safely recycle their electronics at no cost while supporting the school’s computer department.  ERI will make a donation to the school based on the amount of electronics collected at the event.

All of the e-waste collected at the event will be responsibly recycled guaranteeing data destruction and privacy for all material collected.

“Electronic Recyclers International is honored to partner with St. Anthony’s school.  By holding these collection events, they are able to raise money for their school, help to divert electronics from landfills and most importantly teach students how they can individually and as a group be part of the “Green” movement and be good stewards of the environment,” said ERI’s Chairman and CEO John Shegerian.  “Together, with the help of our youth, we are making the world a better place.”

“St. Anthony’s School is pleased to partner with Electronic Recyclers International in a week-long electronic recycling effort that assists our community, teaches our students the importance of recycling, and provides an opportunity for us to be good stewards of our environment,” said Susannah Nelson, principal of St. Anthony’s School.

We all have outdated electronics in our garages, homes and offices, and these events are the perfect opportunity to recycle them safely.  TV’s, computers, monitors, laptops, printers, cell phones, print cartridges and other electronic devices will be accepted (no batteries or light bulbs will be taken).  There is no limit to the amount of electronics businesses and individuals can bring to the event to be recycled.
