Clovis Chamber’s Annual Meeting is Sold Out
CLOVIS – The Clovis Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Meeting/Salute to Business Dinner at the Classic Catering Company on Monday, Feb. 11 is sold out.
The yearly event celebrates the Chamber and its more than 600 members. New board Chair Ken May will be welcomed, and outgoing Chair Rick Snow will be thanked. Fran Blackney, business advocate for the Clovis Chamber, said May will focus on the needs of the Chamber’s current members while helping attract new ones.

“This is important to the community because the Chamber is essential to helping the economy of Clovis thrive, and thus making the city thrive itself,” Blackney said.
In addition, several awards will be presented. Donna Melchor of the Clovis RoundUp will be recognized as the Professional Business Woman, Ad-Venture Video Productions is the Small Business of the Year, and Craig Castro, CEO of Clovis Community Medical Center will receive the Einar Cook Leadership Award. The Ambassador and Director of the Year will also be honored. Congressman Devin Nunes will serve as the guest speaker.

“We’re honored that Ad-Venture Video was selected ‘Small Business of the Year’ by the Clovis Chamber of Commerce,” Ruiz said. “Since the recession hit our community, every day when I wake up I think about our business owners and employees and focus on how we can make a difference for them and our community.”
The event will be held at the Classic Catering Banquet Hall in Old Town Clovis Monday, Feb. 11 from 6-9 p.m.
