CENTRAL VALLEY COMMUNITY BANK ANNOUNCES NEW REGIONAL MANAGER POSITIONS
FRESNO, CALIFORNIA…February 2, 2015…James M. Ford, President and Chief Executive Officer of Central Valley Community Bank (CVCB), recently announced the growth of the Bank’s organizational structure to encompass a Regional Manager level. This expanded management level includes the responsibility of strategic development and implementation of action plans to enhance performance, productivity and customer and community relationships. The new Regional Managers include existing CVCB team member Karen Smith, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager, and Lawrence Cardoso, Senior Vice President, Regional Manager.
Smith will provide leadership for nine CVCB offices covering San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced and Madera Counties, with support for two offices in Fresno County. She began work with Central Valley Community Bank in June 2009 as Vice President, Branch Manager of the Stockton office where she was responsible for managing small business and personal banking in addition to new business development for the Stockton region. A seasoned banking professional, Smith brings 35 years of banking experience to her new position.
Cardoso will provide leadership for 10 CVCB offices covering Fresno and Tulare Counties. He joins CVCB with 10 years of experience in managing a diverse district of banking locations, leading successful sales and service teams, developing new personal and business relationships and human resource management.
