THE BIG FRESNO FAIR TO HOST 5th ANNUAL JOB FAIR ON AUGUST 13

The Big Fresno Fair will hold its 5th Annual Job Fair on Thursday, August 13, 2015. Department Supervisors will be accepting applications to fill nearly 500 positions for the 2015 Big Fresno Fair. Available positions include but are not limited to: parking and ticket sellers, ticket takers, parking attendants, customer service representatives, janitorial staff, maintenance staff, horse racing staff, security guards and more. This year, the Fair is looking to fill all of these positions directly from those attending the Job Fair.

Fair Management and Department Supervisors are looking for people with a strong work ethic and a high level of customer service who want to be part of the Central Valley’s largest annual event. Applications will be available to fill out on-site, but serious candidates should download one ahead of time at http://www.fresnofair.com/fairgrounds-employment, then fill it out and make copies prior to attending the Job Fair. Interested applicants must also bring their photo ID.

Thursday, August 13 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Commerce Building at the Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S. Chance Ave., Fresno, CA 93702.

Each year The Big Fresno Fair hires roughly 500 people to work at the annual event, not including the local employees hired directly by individual food vendors, the carnival provider and Livestock Department.

The annual Job Fair, which began in 2011, continues to draw big crowds of applicants each year and Fair Management anticipates another big turnout this year for an opportunity to work at the 2015 Big Fresno Fair, which runs October 7 – 18.

More than 650,000 people visit The Big Fresno Fair each year making it the largest annual event in the Central Valley.
