E-Waste Recycling Collection Event at Chukchansi Park

Fresno, Calif. (July 23, 2015) – Electronic Recyclers International, Inc.® the largest electronic waste recycling company in North America, is partnering with Susan G. Komen® Central Valley & the Fresno Grizzlies for an e-waste recycling collection event. It will be held at Chukchansi Park, Saturday, August 8, 2015 from 7 a.m. – 1 p.m., with 100% of the proceeds to benefit Susan G. Komen® Central Valley.

Shegerian, President and CEO of Electronic Recyclers. “Both of these organizations have done so much for the people of this community – bringing tangible help and resources to so many. We look forward to providing a safe, responsible and convenient way for the people of Fresno to get rid of their unwanted electronics while supporting Komen Central Valley’s amazing and important work.”

At no charge, the community can drop-off outdated electronics from garages, homes or offices. TV’s, computers, monitors, laptops, printers, cell phones, print cartridges and other electronic devices will be accepted (no batteries, light bulbs, lava lamps or non-electrical equipment will be taken). Items containing data will undergo ERI’s secure data destruction process. There is no limit to the amount of electronics businesses or individuals can bring to the event.

Sharon Johnson, Komen executive director explains, “Komen Central Valley is proud to partner with Electronic Recyclers International, Inc.® and the Fresno Grizzlies. Proceeds from this event will help fund no-cost mammograms, diagnostic tests, culturally appropriate breast cancer education programs and treatment for breast cancer survivors”.

Fresno Grizzlies at Chukchansi Park will serve as the drop-off point. Anyone making a donation at Chukchansi Park will receive a voucher for two Field Level Reserve tickets for a Fresno Grizzlies home game August 20-22.

Chukchansi Park is located at 1800 Tulare St, Fresno, CA 93721. Enter at Tulare and H Streets where volunteers will assist with drop-off.
