ZOO LIGHTS TO BEGIN ON NOVEMBER 28, 2014
Fresno, CA – It’s time to get in the holiday spirit! Fresno Chaffee Zoo is excited to announce that its annual Zoo Lights event will kick-off on Friday, November 28, 2014. This family event will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28 – 30, December 5 – 7, 12 – 14, 19 – 23 and 26 – 30.
The Zoo will be lit with over two miles of holiday lights formed in the shapes of some of your favorite Zoo animals and holiday characters and themed with festive music. Take a photo with Santa, enjoy live entertainment, and savor some complimentary hot chocolate and cookies as you enjoy the holiday season in all its splendor.
HoloSpex® glasses are back! Purchase glasses for $2 each so you can see the holidays through a whole new light. Choose from four patterns of holographic lenses that bend the light creating a magical pattern from every bright point of light. Zoo members can purchase tickets for this event for $6 for adults and $4 for children ages 2 – 11. Tickets for non-members are $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 2 – 11. Children one and under are free.
