Reedley College Entrepreneurial Internship Program Looking for Selected Host Sites

REEDLEY – The Reedley College Entrepreneurship Center is sponsoring its first internship program and it’s looking for selected host sites to provide a meaningful internship experience.  Host sites can be new startup businesses, existing businesses and nonprofits.

The focus of the program will be to assist selected businesses analyze a business process and develop recommendations for improvement.  This may include assisting businesses develop new marketing strategies, updating their business customer networks, evaluating their customer service practices, data analysis, and assisting in planning events.  In turn, these experiences will help interns better understand the importance of business analysis and learn the skills needed to remain successful.

Selected businesses will work with the internship coordinator and the intern to develop a Project Scope that defines the assigned project and outcomes.  The intern will develop a work plan acceptable by the business that has clearly defined milestones.  A final recommendations report will be developed by the intern and presented to the business.

The Reedley College Entrepreneurial Internship Program will begin in April and continue for two months.  Participating businesses serving as host sites will assist students and the community by ensuring their sustainability and keeping themselves and their employees working.
