FRESNO - The City of Fresno Community Revitalization Division, using grant funding available from CalRecycle, will hold a Waste Tire Amnesty Day event on Saturday to allow City of Fresno citizens to part with their unwanted waste tires.

Some event restrictions include: Participants must be City of Fresno residents, no tractor or diesel tires, no business-generated tires, and each resident is limited to (9) tires. Rim tires are accepted.

Each resident will need to provide ID, such as the Waste Tire event mailer, driver’s license, or utility billing showing City of Fresno residency.

The event will take place at Highway City Community Center, located at 5140 N. State St. in Fresno from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., or until two trailers are filled.  Tires from the event will be taken to a tire recycling plant.
