’40 Under 40′ – Tal Eslick – U.S. Congressman David Valadao’s Office
A product of Clovis Unified schools and graduate of California State University, Fresno, Tal Eslick began his career in politics as a Congressional intern in Washington, D.C.
Eslick currently serves as chief of staff for Congressman David G. Valadao (Hanford-21), after serving as chief of staff to Valadao in the California State Assembly and district director to Congressman Devin Nunes (CA-22). He oversees Congressional operations in Hanford, California and Washington, D.C.
After becoming interested in politics at a young age (going as far as writing a letter to then-President George H. W. Bush) Eslick began volunteering on local campaigns in college. He has served in various roles on local, state, and federal campaigns. Eslick is focused on involving more young people in the political process. He also has a passion for energy and immigration policy.
Tal married his wife, Rachel, in May of 2013, and they live in Clovis, California. They enjoy traveling, supporting the Fresno State Bulldogs, and spending time with family and friends.
