’40 Under 40′ – Cassidy Jakovickas – MBS Accountancy Corporation

Cassidy Jakovickas is a Certified Public Accountant and an owner of MBS Accountancy Corporation.  He grew up in British Columbia, Canada and moved to Monterey, California when he was 10 years old.

A Summa Cum Laude graduate from California State University, Fresno, he earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in accountancy and was selected as the Craig School of Business outstanding graduate in the accounting department.  Jakovickas was actively involved with the university and community where he served as president of Beta Alpha Psi and organized many community service events during his time at Fresno State.

After graduating, Jakovickas began his career as an auditor with Deloitte where he served both large public and private businesses. Subsequently, he worked at two local firms providing accounting, tax and consulting services to local individuals and businesses.  After obtaining both big firm and local firm experience, he joined forces with a fellow entrepreneur to grow MBS Accountancy Corporation.  MBS has experienced tremendous success and strives to leverage technology and an outstanding team to constantly improve the client experience.

Jakovickas’ hard work and passion for his business is fueled by the love for his young family.  Cassidy and his wife, Mary, have a 3 year old daughter, Katie Jane, and new born son, J.R.  The family loves going camping, taking trips to the coast, and watching movies together.  Cassidy also enjoys running, snowboarding and working in the garden.
