Fresno City Manager Mark Scott Resigns
FRESNO – It is being reported that Fresno City Manager Mark Scott has resigned from his position to become the new city manager of Burbank, Calif.
Scott is a native of Fresno, and graduated from Fresno High and later Fresno State, and holds a master’s degree in business from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Scott went on to work for the city of Beverly Hills, and spent 14 years there as its city manager. He has also worked as city manager in Spartanburg, South Carolina and Culver City, Calif.
Scott was appointed city manager of Fresno in April 2010. An official announcement of his resignation was scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at Fresno City Hall.
