Fresno Monsters Holding Jersey Auction to Benefit Children’s Hospital
FRESNO – In another effort to give back to the community, the Fresno Monsters hockey team will be auctioning off special jerseys during games held Jan. 25 and 26 at Selland Arena, with the proceeds going to Children’s Hospital Central California.
Fans will be able to stop by the Fan Assistance Center to register for a bid paddle upon entering the building when the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Anyone who attends can bid, and the Monsters’ games against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs begin at 7:35 p.m. Bidding for the jerseys will start at $200, and they will be auctioned off during intermission both nights.
“We are so happy to partner with Children’s Hospital Central California for this great fundraising event,” said Monsters Head Coach and General Manager Eric Ballard. ”What a great opportunity to work with an awesome group of people and to give back to an organization that is vital to the community in which we live.”
