TULARE – Tulare Regional Medical Center Auxiliary is hosting a volunteer orientation for two new programs:  Customer Service Liaison and Call Back Volunteer.  The volunteer positions support the enhanced customer service goals of Tulare Regional Medical Center.

Customer Service Liaisons work in pairs at the Information Desk in the hospital’s main lobby.  Volunteer Liaisons support the Patient Access Department, Ambulatory Care Unit and Medical Imaging Department.  A minimum commitment of three hours per week is recommended.

Call Back Volunteers will phone newly discharged patients to thank them for choosing Tulare Regional Medical Center for their care.  Volunteers will conduct the calls on Mondays and Fridays from the Marketing Department.  A minimum commitment of two hours per week is recommended.

“Providing excellent customer service is a priority for obtaining and retaining patient loyalty,” said Sherrie Bakke, Tulare Regional Medical Center representative.  “Volunteers enhance our ability to offer preferred healthcare service.”
