Free nursing mobile health services for Fresno residents

The Fresno State School of Nursing Community Health Mobile Unit will provide free health services at Mental Health Systems Old Hacienda (2250 W. Clinton), 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9. Residents can receive immunizations, diabetes and blood pressure screenings, plus health assessments, education and referrals. Free flu shots are available for ages 4 and up, but limited to the first 50 individuals. The unit, coordinated by Fresno State nursing faculty and students, is traveling to multiple rural communities in Fresno County for the next two years, offering free health services to those who do not have readily available access to health care.
