40 Under 40: Jeanna Antonino – JP Marketing
Upon enrolling at California State University, Fresno, Jeanna Antonino knew she wanted to major in business, but was unsure of what option she should choose. After deciding on accounting and then human resources, she found a good fit in marketing, because of the creativity involved.
While still at Fresno State in 1999, Antonino she took an internship at JP Marketing in Fresno, and is now operations director with the company. She has been an integral part of deploying MMAPS, JP Marketing’s proprietary survey software. Surveys for clients can now be done digitally, on an iPad or through a Web link. On any given day she handles client billing, payroll, human resources, and also conducts job interviews and hires employees. JP Marketing currently has 23 employees, and has serviced such clients as Groppetti Automotive, A&M Flooring and Good Guys Tires. The company is known for taking on family-owned businesses as clients, and is its longest-standing employee.
Antonino and her husband, Vince, have two young daughters, Mia and Alyssa, who are active in sports like soccer, softball and basketball. Antonino is fond of cooking, and recently took up jogging.
